Maison Lumière means house of light, a name inspired by the great fashion houses of Paris; the same devotion to craft, built instead around photography. Light is the first thing we study on a wedding day: how it moves, where it catches, when it's about to change; but the light we're really chasing is the one within the two of you. It's the way you look at each other when no one's watching, the quiet moments you never want to end. That's what we're here to capture.

Doug's career has taken him from the intensity of NFL sidelines, NCAA events, and professional soccer matches to the sweeping landscapes of the African savanna. That range has defined his versatility. He is best known as the lead photographer for the Kentucky Derby, where he documents the intersection of high-stakes racing, iconic fashion, and the electric atmosphere of the track.

Erik spent years in creative direction and brand strategy before he ever picked up a camera for a wedding, and that background changes what he notices on the day. He's not just watching for the first kiss or the toast; he's watching the way the light hits a detail on the table, the exact second before someone laughs. That eye for detail is what he brings to every wedding he shoots.
Our Approach
No associate shooters. The people you meet at your consultation are the people behind the camera on your wedding day.
We limit how many weddings we take each season so every couple gets our full attention in the weeks before and after.
Every gallery is hand-sequenced and color-finished by us, never outsourced to a third-party editing service.
